Pepsi MidAmerica is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in Mt Vernon, IL. As a Merchandiser, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our Pepsi products are presented in the best possible way to our customers. You will be responsible for ordering, merchandising, restocking, and maintaining product displays in stores, creating an appealing and enticing shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Merchandising Excellence:
Implement planograms and company guidelines to create attractive product displays in retail stores.
Product Restocking:
Regularly replenish shelves, coolers, and displays to maintain product availability and freshness.
Customer Relations:
Build and maintain positive relationships with store personnel to ensure product visibility and shelf space.
Product Rotation:
Ensure that older stock is sold before newer stock, minimizing waste, and maximizing product freshness.
Market Insights:
Provide feedback on market trends and customer preferences to enhance our product placement strategies.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all products are stored and presented in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Compliance:
Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as safety regulations, while performing all job duties.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement may be provided for travel).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Physical capability to lift and move product cases and displays.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and dependable.
  • Previous merchandising experience is a plus but not required.
