Job Description

Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting students in a day therapeutic program serving elementary-aged learners. This contract opportunity offers an engaging environment, working closely with three dedicated classes—two focused on students with emotional disabilities and one serving elementary-aged children with autism. Your expertise as a School Social Worker will be key in helping students develop essential skills for success within and beyond the classroom. Your day will run from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, with a half-hour lunch break built in. This position is set to begin as soon as possible and runs through May 22, 2026—there may be potential for renewal for the following school year, offering future stability for those who thrive in this setting.
Desired Background:
Valid licensure or certification as a School Social Worker Experience working with children with emotional disabilities or autism in educational settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, students, and families Ability to tailor support strategies to meet individual student needs Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
