About the
Role:
As a Stocker based in New Albany, MS, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and availability of products within the store. Your primary objective will be to ensure that shelves are consistently stocked, clean, and orderly to provide an excellent shopping experience for customers. You will be responsible for receiving deliveries, verifying inventory, and efficiently placing products in their designated locations. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support store operations. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the smooth functioning of the store and customer satisfaction.
Hours:
Sunday through Thursday 12:00 pm until work is completed
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to operate a reach lift. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds regularly. Basic math skills for inventory counting and verification. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in retail stocking or warehouse operations. Familiarity with inventory management systems or handheld scanning devices. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
Unload and unpack merchandise from delivery trucks carefully and efficiently. Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy. Stock shelves, racks, and displays with products in a neat and organized manner. Rotate stock to maintain freshness and remove expired or damaged items. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the stockroom and sales floor. Collaborate with team members and management to meet daily stocking goals.
