Category Expert - Sports Trading Cards

Through the Decades Collectibles is looking for a full-time Category Expert for our Sports Trading Cards section. This role will be working with collectors of all types of cards. These include, but aren't limited to: Modern & vintage cards Baseball, Basketball, & Football Combat sports, soccer, hockey, & racing Disney, Marvel (Wait, isn't that Disney?), Star Wars (Hold on...), & Pop Culture And more! The Category Expert role serves as a point of expertise for a specified category of product within the retail operations of Through the Decades (TTD). Primarily working on the sales floor, both behind and in front of the sales counter, the Category Expert works to ensure the store is customer-ready, providing top-notch customer service to every customer, all while providing expertise both internally and externally regarding their assigned category. DUTIES Be the point of expertise for a category of product, as defined by TTD Work with leadership team to ensure success of assigned category Be the primary resource for category knowledge, including but not limited to: Events Buying/Selling of Product Customer Education Changes to Category Market Purchase items, as appropriate, from customers Provide excellent customer service Stock, organize, and price retail product items Pick, sort, and file individual cards per company guidelines Organize, run, and/or assist with events Maintain store cleanliness Provide checkout services to customers Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Read, write, and communicate via English fluently Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Routinely carry, lift, push, pull, and manipulate up to 25lbs Occasionally carry, lift, push, pull, and manipulate up to 50lbs Stand for most/all of an 8-hour shift Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, reach, grasp, stand, walk, lift, or carry in a variety of situations Ability to accurately handle cash Availability to work days, nights, and weekends

$21/hour
