What You Will Do:

The Central Supply Technician supports patient care by ensuring timely inventory, restocking, and distribution of medical and surgical supplies and equipment to patient care areas. This role ensures supplies are accurately stocked, properly issued, and delivered efficiently in accordance with departmental and patient population needs.

Essential Job Functions include:

Inventory, restock, and organize PAR-level supply carts for assigned patient care areasMaintain accurate supply levels using par count sheets and computerized inventory systemsCreate and process supply orders using inventory management softwarePick, issue, and deliver supplies accurately and efficientlyRead and interpret bin locations and ensure proper shelving in Central SupplyProcess full, selective, and critical supply orders as appropriateEnsure inventory transactions are completed correctly and report discrepancies to leadershipDeliver stat supply and equipment orders promptly via pneumatic tube systems or physical deliveryReceive and process phone requests for supplies, documenting issues as requiredPerform additional Central Supply duties as assigned
