Job Description
Cardinal HR Consulting is assisting a valued client with the recruitment of a Stock/Tool Room Clerk . Our client is seeking a dependable and organized Stock/Tool Room Clerk to help support the day-to-day operations of our sugar mill. This role is essential to ensuring employees have the tools, equipment, and supplies they need to work safely and efficiently. If you enjoy staying organized, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, and working with people across the organization, we would love to hear from you. What You'll Do Receive, inspect, and store incoming supplies, materials, and equipment. Maintain inventory levels and help ensure critical supplies are available when needed. Issue tools and supplies to employees and track tools that are checked out. Verify deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips and help resolve discrepancies with vendors. Utilize inventory management software and electronic tracking systems. Prepare items for shipment, mail, or package delivery. Organize and maintain stockrooms and storage areas. Perform inventory-related recordkeeping and clerical duties. Build positive working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and vendors. Safely operate a forklift and other equipment as needed. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. At least one year of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, stockroom management, or a related field. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory management software. Ability to accurately receive, track, store, and distribute materials and equipment. Forklift experience preferred or willingness to become certified. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to teamwork. Why Consider This Opportunity?
