Assistant Shopkeeper - Home & Lifestyle Boutique in Charlestown

Our busy home & lifestyle boutique in Charlestown (Boston) seeks an energetic, experienced retail shopkeeper with GREAT people skills for approx. 15-20 hours/week, and up to 30 hours/week during the holiday season. Afternoon and weekend availability are a MUST!

YOU ARE:

A detail-oriented self-starter with a positive attitude and a love of great design. You're comfortable multitasking (think: restyling shelves, sweeping and sanitizing, tagging products, and receiving deliveries in between checking out customers) and working solo. You're style-minded, social-media savvy, and comfortable advising and engaging with guests as they shop. You'll be a valued partner to our shop owner and have the opportunity to develop as a merchandiser and shopkeeper. You'll be the face of the shop when our owner is not present, utilizing and growing your problem-solving and people skills.

We work hard and don't mind getting our hands dirty in the name of a great shop experience. High-end retail, visual merchandising, and/or design background VERY strongly preferred.

YOU MUST

be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
