Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Stock and Shop Lead Person to oversee sprinkler inventory management, warehouse distribution, and process improvements within our operations. This role is vital in ensuring efficient materials handling, accurate inventory control, and smooth logistics flow. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, and a passion for optimizing stock item management systems. As a key team leader, you will coordinate shipping and receiving activities, crew logistics support, and uphold safety standards to foster a productive and safe working environment. Duties Lead daily shop operations including stock replenishment, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate inventory with supervisors in the field. Coordinate site delivieries and logistics. Streamline process and items in support of field related work. Supervise shipping & receiving processes Implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize space utilization. Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain precise stock levels and prevent discrepancies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations including OSHA standards; promote a culture of safety awareness among staff. Maintain accurate documentation related to shipping & receiving logs, inbound/outbound shipments, and inventory records. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience with heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate mechanical aids. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety compliance. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and process improvement initiatives. Pay:
