Papaya Fruit Market (Canton)
Schedule:
Monday-Saturday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (6 days per week) Job Summary Papaya Fruit Markets is seeking a dependable and hardworking Produce Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for stocking fresh produce, maintaining clean and attractive displays, rotating inventory, and ensuring the produce department remains organized and customer-ready throughout the day. Responsibilities Stock fresh fruits and vegetables on display tables and shelves. Rotate produce regularly to maintain freshness and quality (FIFO method). Remove damaged, spoiled, or unsellable products from displays. Keep produce displays full, organized, and visually appealing. Clean and maintain work areas, tables, floors, and storage spaces. Assist with unloading and organizing incoming produce shipments. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. Provide friendly customer service when needed. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous produce, grocery, warehouse, or retail experience is preferred but not required. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual English and Arabic preferred. Benefits Competitive pay based on experience.
