The Pack Line Team Lead is responsible for coordinating daily operations on the pack line, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely packing and shipping of stamped products. This hands-on role includes leading a small team, monitoring workflow, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safety and productivity on the floor. Essential Job Responsibilities Lead and support team members on the pack line to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Organize daily work assignments based on shipping schedules and priorities. Ensure packing, labeling, and palletizing are done according to customer specifications and internal standards. Monitor team performance, provide coaching and feedback, and assist with training new employees. Communicate with the Shipping Supervisor and other departments (Production, Quality, etc.) to resolve issues and improve workflow. Perform quality checks to ensure finished goods meet company and customer standards. Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards. Assist with inventory counts, documentation, and data entry as required. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training a plus. 2+ years of experience in a shipping, packing, or warehouse environment, preferably in manufacturing. Prior experience in a team lead or supervisory role preferred. Strong understanding of shipping processes, documentation, and quality standards. Ability to read work instructions, shipping orders, and packing specs. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs. Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
