Stocker

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are stocked, organized, and readily available for customers in a retail or warehouse environment. This role requires a strong focus on customer service and the ability to maintain a clean and efficient workspace. Responsibilities Stock shelves with merchandise in an organized manner, ensuring products are easily accessible to customers. Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and replenishing as needed. Clean and organize the stockroom and sales floor to create a welcoming shopping environment. Assist customers with inquiries regarding product availability and location within the store. Load and unload products from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Utilize retail math skills to assist in inventory management and product placement strategies. Operate forklifts safely when necessary to move larger items or pallets within the warehouse or store. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse customer groups. Basic knowledge of retail math is beneficial for managing inventory effectively. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Forklift certification is a plus; training may be provided for qualified candidates. A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas.
