Job Description

Position:
Stock Unloader Shift:
7:00am-11:00am
Hours:
8 per week

POSITION SUMMARY
Stock Unloader promptly unloads deliveries, sorts, and stocks products on shelves, being sure to check inventory, expiration dates and practices first in first out (FIFO).
REQUIRED SKILLS
Ability to work independently. Organized. Able to read, write and understand the English language. Able to follow instructions and communicate effectively in a respectful manner with others, this includes residents/tenants, family members, visitors, and staff.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Unpack and put away food products. Review inventory. Put product away in the freezer, cooler and storeroom, using the FIFO method. Monitor for expired products. Break down and put away the boxes. Sweep, mop, clean in the storeroom areas. Keeping the storage areas (freezer, cooler and storeroom) clean and safe.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical demands of the job include walking long distances, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, and lifting. Also, grasping and carrying items. May be required to lift objects in the range of 20-25 lbs. at times. All these requirements must be done in a safe manner.
