  • Your role and responsibilities
  • The Early Build Operations Lead is responsible for managing all production requirements in the Early Build Lab in Rochester, MN.
The primary focus of this role will be managing the Quantum RTE builds fulfilled from Rochester, and managing Quantum inventory in SAP. The Operations Lead is responsible to ensure all production requirements are met and Development/customer schedules are supported.

Key responsibilities include
  • Provide work direction to the Early Build team and manage resource requirements
  • Coordinate and setup build schedules to support Quantum production requirements
  • Primary focal point for Engineering, MPM's, and Development to provide status on production, material requirements, and address problems
  • Receive and process inbound parts into SAP inventory
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure integrity of stock levels. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, and maintain strong audit posture
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documentation (SI's) for outbound shipments
  • Track, investigate, and resolve missing parts and delayed shipments
  • Required technical and professional expertise
  • Previous experience working in a Lab, warehouse, or manufacturing environmentExcellent communication and teamwork skillsOrganization and time managementExperience working with SAPPrevious experience as a team lead or Project management leadPrevious experience with shipping and distribution operations
