Wellness Buyer - Part Time

River Market Community Co-op is hiring a Part Time Wellness Buyer!

Experience-based pay ranging from:

$19.32 - $20.63 per hour Expected hours: 18 - 24 hours per week Must have availability to work weekends and evenings. Candidates without availability to work weekends and evenings will not be considered. Work for a community-owned grocery store in downtown Stillwater and help support a sustainable local food system. Wellness Buyers interact directly with customers, acting as guides to help answer questions and locate products. In this position you will maintain attractive and fully stocked shelves, place orders for retail product following established procedures, receive deliveries, ensure high standards of product quality and safety, and keep the store clean and organized. The most qualified candidates for this position will have experience placing orders for retail sale in product categories like vitamins and supplements, essential oils, body care, hair care, and skincare.

Union position Reports to:

Wellness Specialist Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous customer service Assist customers with product selection, requests, special orders and returns Check incoming deliveries for invoice accuracy, product quality, damage and shortages Sign, date and code invoices according to the SOPs for pricing support and bookkeeping purposes. Submit invoices promptly Place orders to ensure supply of inventory is always adequate and meets volume needs Obtain and submit credits from vendors in a timely manner Participate in reviews of quarterly and seasonal movement reports. Adjust merchandising and purchasing as directed by manager Coordinate with manager and support staff on potential new products Assist in planning and maintain attractive, fully stocked, rotated, and faced sections, including promo areas Stock, or identify stocking priorities, in accordance with procedures and SOPs Candidates interested in a Co-op career, please submit a resume!
