Shift Manager

Overview Newly opened Level Up Entertainment is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shift Manager to lead our team through daily operations in our family entertainment center featuring bowling, arcade, restaurant and more. In this role, you will oversee activities during your shift, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain operational excellence. You'll optimize sales performance and uphold standards to deliver a seamless entertainment experience for our patrons. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to company policies Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management Manage inventory control by overseeing stock levels, conducting audits, and coordinating replenishment efforts to maximize sales opportunities Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service Oversee cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and payroll processing to maintain accuracy and compliance Coordinate purchasing activities, pricing strategies, and merchandising efforts to optimize presentation and sales performance Conduct interviews for potential new hires, participate in employee orientation programs, and support recruiting initiatives to build a strong team Requirements Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting Excellent communication skills; from explaining pricing or procedures to a patron or educating new hires in an area of our entertainment center. Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, cash handling, POS systems, inventory management, and bookkeeping processes Preferred experience with employee training & development, scheduling, budgeting, and sales management techniques Ability to lead by example with a positive attitude while fostering teamwork and collaboration Knowledge of retail sales strategies including merchandising, pricing, marketing initiatives, and stock replenishment Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us as a Shift Manager and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding entertainment experiences.
