As a trusted local cooperative, we take pride in supporting the communities of Reed Point, Worden, Custer, Hysham, and Miles City. We're looking for a motivated, dependable team member to join our Hysham retail location at 121 Elliot Ave, Hysham, MT 59038. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes initiative, and values great customer service. You'll play a key role in keeping the stores running smoothly while helping customers get what they need. This position reports directly to the Hysham store manager, Joy Dawn and Retail Director, Jenny Calovis. What You'll Do Deliver outstanding customer service every day Operate the POS system and handle transactions accurately Assist with daily paperwork, including receipts, deposits, and filing Load feed and agricultural products into customer vehicles Receive and stock incoming inventory Fill propane tanks and bottles (training provided if needed) Keep shelves stocked and retail areas clean, organized, and inviting Assist with general store upkeep, including outdoor grounds What We're Looking For A positive, "find a way to get it done" attitude Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized Someone who takes initiative and works well independently Dependable and reliable with a solid work ethic Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting Ability to regularly lift 60+ pounds Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred (High school juniors or seniors will be considered) Additional Qualifications (18+ Only) Ability to safely fill propane tanks (or complete training within 2 months) Forklift experience (or willingness to become certified within 2 months) Valid driver's license Schedule Monday-Saturday - hours will vary but the store closes at 6 so rarely past 7pm.
