Stockroom Clerk

JOB SUMMARY

Perform duties related to storing, inventory control and parts issuance. Provide information on revolving inventory levels as requested. Fill material requisitions promptly and accurately. Report discrepancies and material shortages.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

1.Set up and maintain shelving as required to ensure accurate and functional parts accountability and issuance. 2.Issue and deliver parts to production areas in a timely manner while observing lean concepts. 3.Perform Inventory counts as needed to assure accurate inventory levels. 4.Review daily floor stock locations to determine replenishment requirements. 5.Set up quarantine areas as needed to comply with FAA/DAS requirements. 6.Ensures that the stockroom is kept clean, safe and orderly.

SECONDARY DUTIES

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Team Lead or Logistics Supervisor.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountable to the Team Lead or Logistics Supervisor in all daily functions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM:

1.High School Diploma or equivalent. 2.Basic computer skills for use in typical office software applications. 3.2 years experience in Material Control, i.e.: Stores Clerk, Customer Material, Inventory Control, Shipping, Receiving, or related field. 4.Must have ability to read and comprehend blueprints, IPC's, Engineering Orders and other technical data. 5.Be able to learn HAECO's operating system to perform daily transactions. 6.Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. 7.Ability to work with minimum supervision. 8.Must be available for overtime and/or work flexible schedule as job requirements dictate.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1.Must be able to sit and work effectively at video display terminals for extended periods of time. 2.Must have manual dexterity to process materials and perform computer functions. 3.Must be able to climb stairs, lift and carry minimum of 50 lbs. 4.Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required. 5.Ability to distinguish color is required.
