Flexible availability preferred, especially evenings, weekends, and coverage shifts. Occasional daytime availability may be needed for branded product preparation and packaging. Position Overview Hempire Innovations is hiring one or two dependable team members to support retail sales, local delivery, shipment fulfillment, customer support, and branded product preparation . This role is important because our business serves both storefront customers and online customers at the same time. We are looking for help that can improve delivery coverage, reduce customer wait times, support fulfillment, and keep the storefront running smoothly during active business hours. A major goal of this position is to create better store coverage, especially during weekdays and busier operating windows. Reliable support allows the store to stay covered while higher-level business operations, inventory planning, vendor communication, marketing, team training, and administrative work are handled without pulling attention away from customers. This role also helps prevent whoever is running the storefront from being overloaded with deliveries at the same time. When delivery volume, shipment needs, and customer traffic all hit at once, the store needs support so retail service stays strong, orders move faster, and the person covering the store is not forced to handle everything alone. This role is not just driving. You will support the full customer order flow, including helping retail customers, preparing online orders, completing local deliveries, packing shipment orders, assisting with customer messages, organizing products, preparing branded products, packaging products, and keeping daily operations moving. Hours & Growth Expectations This position may start with lighter hours in the beginning as we bring on additional help, train a store manager, and adjust coverage needs. Hours are expected to grow as business needs grow, delivery volume increases, shipment volume increases, packaging needs expand, and the team structure becomes more stable. Applicants should understand that the beginning and middle of this process may require patience, flexibility, and consistency. We are building the team carefully, not rushing people into full schedules before the business need is there. This role is best for someone who can start with flexible part-time support, prove reliability, and grow with the company as more hours become available. Key ResponsibilitiesRetail Sales Support Assist customers in a professional, respectful manner. Answer basic product questions and help customers understand available options. Support in-store purchases, curbside pickup, online orders, and customer order flow. Follow all age verification and compliance procedures. Keep the retail area clean, organized, and presentable. Provide service without making medical claims and exaggerated product claims. Delivery Support Complete local customer deliveries safely and professionally. Help improve delivery coverage and reduce customer wait times. Use your own reliable vehicle for deliveries. Follow delivery instructions, route expectations, and confirmation procedures. Communicate clearly with customers when needed. Handle customer orders, tips, and delivery interactions professionally. Maintain discretion when delivering hemp-derived cannabinoid products. Track delivery and driving-related information accurately according to company procedures. Shipment Support Prepare nationwide shipping orders accurately. Check products, quantities, labels, customer details, and packaging before shipment. Pack orders neatly, securely, and consistently. Assist with carrier drop-offs and shipment organization. Communicate order issues, substitutions, inventory shortages, and fulfillment problems promptly. Support accurate inventory flow for shipped orders. Brand Product Prep & Packaging Support Assist with preparing Hempire Innovations branded products for retail, delivery, and shipment. Help package, label, organize, and stage branded products according to company procedures. Support product prep tasks and packaging needs. Check labels, counts, packaging materials, and finished items for accuracy. Keep packaging areas clean, organized, and ready for use. Communicate packaging shortages, product issues, and preparation needs promptly. Learn how to create, update, and print product labels accurately. Help divide products into the correct quantity variants for retail, delivery, and shipment. Support organized packaging plans for products with several quantity variants. Pay close attention to counts, label types, package sizes, and product variations. Team members who can learn label creation, label updates, label printing, and efficient variant breakdowns will be especially valuable to the team. Customer Support Assist with customer messages, order questions, and basic support communication. Help customers with pickup, delivery, shipment, product availability, and order status questions. Communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally by phone, text, email, and approved company systems. Escalate customer issues, complaints, refunds, substitutions, compliance questions, and unusual situations to management. Protect customer privacy and handle customer information responsibly. General Operations Support Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, restocking, organizing, and daily store tasks. Help balance storefront needs with online orders, deliveries, shipments, and customer support. Help with packaging, labeling, inventory counts, and product preparation as needed. Support retail, delivery, shipment, customer support, and branded product preparation without needing to be constantly reminded. Follow company policies, communication standards, and internal procedures. Protect customer information, company information, vendor information, staff information, and internal business operations. Requirements Must be 21 years of age and older. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have reliable transportation. Must have an active smartphone with reliable service. Must be comfortable driving local deliveries in Wilmington and nearby areas. Must have flexible availability, especially evenings, weekends, and coverage shifts. This role is not for someone who only wants easy hours, quick cash, and a temporary job until something else comes along. We need people who can be flexible, patient, dependable, detail-oriented, and useful across different parts of the operation. The ideal candidate is steady, mature, professional, and capable of helping Hempire Innovations run smoothly whether assisting customers, preparing orders, completing deliveries, packing shipments, helping with customer support, preparing branded products, and organizing product variants accurately. Someone who can learn how to create labels, update labels, print labels, and divide products into the right quantity variants will be especially valuable as we continue improving our packaging and fulfillment systems. Compliance & Professional Standards Hempire Innovations operates in the hemp-derived cannabinoid industry. All employees must follow company compliance standards at all times.
