Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Stockroom Associate. If you are ready to take on a fresh challenge, grow your career and contribute to supporting homeland defense, armed services, first responders, and law enforcement, Wilcox Industries is ready to help you achieve your goals. Wilcox is a vertically integrated engineering and manufacturing company with a goal to do as much design, testing, manufacturing, and assembling in house as possible. Because of this, candidates must have a strong skillset with the ability to interface with all departments throughout the company on a daily basis.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position performs a variety of stockroom activities including, but not limited to receiving, kitting, order picking, outside service part fulfillment, printing and organizing work order paperwork and daily cycle counting. Must be a self-starter and perform job with minimal supervision.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive product and ensure that it is placed in the proper location within the stockroom. Maintain a clean work area and overall cleanliness of the stockroom. (i.e.: neatly organized, clean, and free of trash/boxes) Verify all counts before parts are transacted into software system. Address issues with appropriate personnel to their resolve. Ensure that customer orders are picked and labeled as required. Deliver to shipping department. Pull parts for work orders; ensure that transactions in software system are completed before kits leave area. Pull parts for outside service work orders; ensure that transactions in software system are completed before parts move to shipping. Fill material requisitions for Engineering and Production. Perform daily cycle counting and reconciliation. Ability to work in a fast paced environment, effectively work in a dynamic and driven environment. Maintain a positive work atmosphere be acting and communicating in a professional manner as to maintain a positive relationship with co-workers and management. Adhere to safe work practices and comply with all Company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Required:
High School Diploma Preferred:
1-3 years of stockroom experience. ERP/MRP experience a plus. (SAP software). Strong interpersonal skills. Need to handle multiple priorities between managers. Able to multi-task. Highly organized. Strong communication skills. Able to work overtime, when necessary.
