Product Preparation & Photography Styling Associate 1-Commerce Clifton, NJ Job Details Full-time $19.00 - $25.95 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Merchandising E-commerce High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Warehouse experience Full Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Product Preparation & Photography Styling Associate to support our product imaging operations. This role is responsible for preparing merchandise for photography by accurately scanning items into our system, staging products for photo shoots, and capturing key product details that will support AI-driven content generation, merchandising, and catalog enrichment. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and has an eye for presentation, product fit, and quality. This is a KPI-driven, fast-paced position requiring both speed and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Receive and scan products into internal systems to ensure accurate tracking and workflow management. Prepare products for photography by steaming, organizing, and ensuring items are presentation-ready. Stage products on mannequins, flat lays, tabletop sets, or other designated photo environments. Properly position products to align with photography standards and brand guidelines. Place measurement tools or sizing indicators within photos as required for consistency and reference. Observe and document product-specific details such as: Fit and sizing observations Material characteristics Unique design features Styling notes or recommended callouts Input notes and metadata into internal systems to support AI tools, product descriptions, and digital merchandising. Maintain clean, organized staging and prep areas. Collaborate with team members to ensure product details are accurately captured and daily production goals are achieved. Handle products carefully to preserve quality and prevent damage. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in retail, warehouse operations, eCommerce, photography studio, merchandising, or apparel handling is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies. Comfortable using scanners, computers, and inventory systems. Ability to follow processes and maintain productivity standards in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment. Basic understanding of apparel fit, product styling, or visual presentation preferred. Strong communication and note-taking skills. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move products throughout the shift. Preferred Skills Experience working with apparel, accessories, footwear, or consumer goods. Familiarity with studio workflows or product photography environments. Interest in AI, digital commerce, or product data operations. Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy.
