Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Stockroom Assistant to join our dynamic retail team. In this vital role, you will manage stockroom operations, ensure accurate inventory control, and support store merchandising efforts. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help maintain a seamless shopping environment, enhance product presentation, and contribute to the overall success of our store. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail and inventory management expertise while working in a lively, team-focused atmosphere. Duties Oversee stockroom operations, including stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean workspace Manage inventory levels using retail math principles and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accurate stock counts Assist with merchandising by creating attractive displays, planograms, and visual designs using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator Support remodeling projects and interior design initiatives to improve store layout and product placement Conduct regular inventory audits, control stock levels, and handle inventory adjustments efficiently Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries and locating items in the stockroom Collaborate with store management on pricing strategies, sales promotions, and branding efforts Train new team members on stock management procedures, safety protocols, and organizational skills Maintain safety standards by adhering to cleaning routines, schematics for store layout, and proper handling of stock Experience Proven supervisory experience in retail or stockroom management is preferred Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory control and merchandising techniques Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and visual design tools for creating displays and planograms Experience in retail sales, customer service, cash handling, and POS systems is highly desirable Knowledge of store management practices including remodeling, interior design concepts, and branding strategies Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages is a plus for serving diverse customer bases Demonstrated leadership qualities with training & development experience for team growth Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Stockroom Assistant to be an integral part of our vibrant retail team!
