Submittal Data Center New Product Innovation (NPI) Lead | Sparks, NV Nexeo Staffing is hiring a Data Center New Product Innovation (NPI) Lead to support a high-tech data center facility in Sparks, NV (near USA Parkway). This role is ideal for candidates with experience in warehouse operations, production, manufacturing, assembly, or logistics leadership who are ready to step into a hands-on leadership position. You'll lead a team in a fast-paced environment supporting installation, inventory movement, quality control, and daily operations.

This role oversees the strategic and daily operations of NPI (New Product Innovation) infrastructure build workflow. Ensuring all physical builds from rack population to final cabling are completed on schedule, within budget, and to global quality standards. This team operates within areas still under construction, making safety leadership, PPE compliance, and adaptability essential. Ideal candidates are proactive leaders who can bridge high-level planning with on-the-floor execution while supporting new product implementation, testing, and integration of new equipment and processes. Responsibilities
  • Lead daily production, warehouse, and build activities to ensure tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule
  • Assign work, prioritize tasks, and support team members in completing daily objectives
  • Oversee assembly, installation, and setup of equipment and components using diagrams, instructions, or SOPs
  • Perform and support inventory cycle counts, material tracking, and replenishment of supplies
  • Conduct quality checks on materials and completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support shipping and receiving operations, including loading/unloading and verifying documentation
  • Process returns (RMA) and track materials using warehouse or inventory systems
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools for basic installation or assembly tasks
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, straddle stackers, and rack movers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S and safety standards
  • Train and support team members on processes, safety, and quality expectations
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams (inventory, logistics, operations) to resolve issues and keep workflows moving
  • Perform hands-on work alongside the team, including lifting, moving, and organizing materials Qualifications
  • 1+ year of leadership or team lead experience in warehouse, production, manufacturing, logistics, or similar environments
  • Experience with inventory, shipping/receiving, assembly work, or general warehouse operations
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, or basic equipment
  • Familiarity with inventory systems, RF scanners, or WMS tools is a plus
  • Ability to follow instructions, diagrams, or standard operating procedures
  • Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull materials throughout the shift (up to 50 lbs)
  • Reliable transportation to the USA Parkway worksite
  • High school diploma or GED required
