Job Description
If you enjoy baked bread you will love our fresh new Baked Breads Department at our Melville Uncle Giuseppe's Store! We have an immediate need for a PT Bread Clerk to assist customers with their bread selection needs. Our Baked Bread Clerks create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Bread Clerks should be friendly, greet and be courteous to customers and work with management and other associates to provide a high level of customer service. Responsibilities Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environmentDisplay our freshly baked breads in an appealing counter displayClean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with the NYS Standards as well as QA standards Keep floors clean and clear of debris and spillsGreet all customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistanceMaintain and properly use all department equipment as requireRotate product to ensure freshnessOther duties and functions as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalentFlexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability.
