40 The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
Assists in the merchandising functions of the Gallery Shop/Art Lending Services, including responsibility for inventory, accounting functions and office procedures. Orders and maintains an inventory of merchandise. Ensures accuracy of quantities and quality of merchandise.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Orders and maintains an inventory of merchandise. Ensures accuracy of quantities and quality of merchandise. Establishes a supply storage inventory. Supervises and schedules student and part-time workers. Maintains time sheets and related records. Schedules volunteer coordinators and ensures adequate coverage of attendants at admissions machine. Develops and maintains volunteer training manual and participates in the training of volunteers. Authorizes payment of approved invoices to vendors and artists through the University Accounting Department. As required, prepares timely and accurate reports and maintains necessary records. Establishes and maintains a close working relationship with members of the Gallery staff, other University personnel and the general public. Other duties as assigned.
