Overview Join our dynamic team as a Stock Associate and become a vital part of our fast-paced retail environment! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining organized stock areas, managing inventory, and ensuring that products are readily available for customers. Duties Receive, unload, and process shipments using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management. Stock shelves efficiently by organizing products according to merchandising plans and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Conduct regular inventory control checks to identify discrepancies and assist with stock replenishment to meet customer demand. Assist in packaging and labeling products for shipping or display, ensuring proper handling of produce and grocery items. Support shipping & receiving operations by loading and unloading merchandise safely and accurately. Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse area through routine cleaning and organization tasks to promote safety and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by assisting store associates with product location, inventory questions, and merchandising needs. Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members across departments including retail sales, cashiering, and maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations. Communicate effectively with team members in multiple languages if bilingual skills are available, enhancing overall store communication. Experience Previous warehouse experience or retail stocking background preferred but not required; training will be provided for all new team members. Familiarity with inventory management systems, RF scanners, or warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-moving environment. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and stand for extended periods during shifts. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist customers effectively. Experience working in grocery stores or retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key! Bilingual abilities are highly valued to support diverse customer needs.
