Retail Store Associate / Grocery Clerk Strongsville Grocery Outlet - Strongsville, Ohio Strongsville Grocery Outlet is now hiring dependable, energetic Retail Store Associates for multiple departments, including Grocery, Produce, Dairy, Frozen Foods, and GM/HBC (General Merchandise & Health and Beauty Care). We are seeking team members who enjoy physical work, staying busy, helping customers, and working in a fast-paced retail environment. Successful candidates are reliable, self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to maintain productivity throughout their shift. Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available Available Positions Grocery Clerk / Stock Associate Cashier / Retail Associate Produce Clerk Dairy Clerk Frozen Food Clerk GM/HBC Clerk Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service on every shift Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately Stock shelves and rotate merchandise using FIFO inventory practices Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked departments Build and maintain merchandising displays and promotional features Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing backroom inventory Perform inventory checks and remove damaged or expired merchandise Maintain store cleanliness, food safety, and operational standards Work efficiently and maintain productivity throughout the shift Support team members and assist in multiple departments as needed Qualifications Minimum one (1) year of retail, grocery, stocking, cashier, warehouse, or customer service experience preferred Strong attendance and reliability required Positive attitude and strong customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and stock merchandise for extended periods Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment Must be comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments when assigned Availability Requirements Evening availability is required Weekend availability is required Holiday availability is required Flexible scheduling availability is strongly preferred Applicants must be able to consistently work during peak business periods What We Are Looking For Dependable individuals with a strong work ethic Team members who enjoy staying active and productive Employees who take initiative and require minimal supervision Individuals who are committed to excellent customer service People who want to grow with a successful and expanding retail business Why Join Strongsville Grocery Outlet?
