JOB SUMMARY
: CPC Shift Leaders are expected to oversee all phases of the centralized processing center operations in accordance with Goodwill Central Oklahoma policies and procedures, fostering a safe and productive work environment. The Shift Leader is responsible for training, coaching, directing and validating processing operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
: Punctual and dependable attendance. Review and be familiar with Goodwill of Central Oklahoma safety and security policies, programs and procedures and adhere to all safety rules, regulations and safety codes. Attend safety training and meetings and report on any unsafe work conditions, accidents or injuries immediately. Schedules and organizes processing operations in CPC to maximize production of materials for shipment to retail stores in accordance with established processing procedures. Participate in interviews for potential employees and effectively recommend which candidates should be hired. Train and mentor employees in assigned departments. Consults with the Warehouse Manager on hiring, employee discipline, discharge, and other employment issues. Monitors the activity and productivity of each employee assigned to the CPC to ensure that employees follow processing procedures and meet daily production goals. Maintains good housekeeping standards in all departments supervised. Follows, enforces, and provides training to ensure that all safety policies, rules, and regulations are followed. Must wear company approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
: High school diploma or GED, preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment. Equipment operation experience preferred, i.e., pallet jacks, baler, tipper, forklift, etc. Ability to speak, read and write the English language. Reliable transportation and communication, required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This work is physical and requires the following activities: Standing, twisting, bending, kneeling, grasping, and reaching for long periods of time; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity. Frequent walking and long extended periods of time on foot. The ability to push, pull and lift 50 pounds, or more with assistance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Works in warehouse environment will be exposed to airborne particles such as dust, mold, dirt and pollen as well as extreme heat and cold. Must be available to work during operating hours as needed for business operations. The work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays which may vary from week to week as well as occasional overtime when approved by management. Moderate noise level. Works 40 hours per week or more when required.
