Job Description
Job Description Small but rapidly growing food manufacturer/processor located in Happy Valley, Oregon is looking to add members to our sorting team. We take fresh ingredients and transform them into fresh food items, e.g. sandwiches, salads, wraps, snack trays, parfaits, entrees, etc. The sorting team is responsible for picking & packing customer orders for delivery on company-owned trucks. We are looking for an employee who can do the following:
- Sort and count food items by company, location, route and stop
- Label and make food items periodically
- Load and unload delivery trucks periodically
- Be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- Must be able to speak either English or Spanish to communicate with other staff
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Stand and walk 8-10 hours a day
- Adhere to Company/USDA/FDA/OSHA policies
- Work in a cold environment (38 degrees)
- Work well with a team
- Follow directions
- Any other reasonable request related to the work tasks
