Job Description
- Produce experience would be preferred, but willing to train the right person
- Lifting required - 5lbs to 15lbs regularly, 16lbs to 30lbs often, 31lbs to 50lbs occasionally
- NON corporate environment is great for someone tired of the big chain grind
- Pay rate is negotiable depending on qualifications What we are looking for- Delivers fast, friendly customer service and actively helps customers find products Maintains a clean, organized, and visually appealing produce department at all times Rotates product correctly using FIFO practices to reduce shrink and protect freshness Pays close attention to quality by removing damaged, outdated, or poor-condition product immediately Works with urgency while still maintaining accuracy and presentation standards Dependable and consistently shows up on time ready to work Self-motivated and able to stay productive without constant supervision Strong work ethic with willingness to jump in wherever needed Team-oriented and communicates well with coworkers and management Follows direction accurately Maintains food safety and sanitation standards at all times Positive attitude even during busy, high-pressure situations Willing to learn new products, seasonal items, and merchandising techniques Notices problems before being asked and takes initiative to fix them
