JOB SUMMARY

Lead a night crew team that orders, prices and shelves grocery items for a grocery store.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Present exceptional example of high-quality Roth's employee with regard to dress code, attitude and work ethic Monitor grocery stock conditions and write grocery orders Direct stocking personnel in the unloading, cutting, stocking, code-date monitoring and facing of merchandise Maintain grocery inventory at acceptable level Unload, cut and stock merchandise Safely operate a pallet jack and hand truck Clean and organize the backroom for the next day's activities or assign task appropriately Sort and package spoils for return to vendors or assign task appropriately Face and stock all shelves and end bases for customer purchase Receive merchandise (primarily frozen) and verify quantities received with corresponding invoices Follow security measures to minimize theft and/or damage to property Teach new employees various tasks and techniques associated with their assignments Clean sales area for the next day's business Re-price products, change shelf tags and put price changes into the computer system

QUALIFICATIONS

No employee shall pose a direct threat to the health or safety of self or others Must be able to communicate pleasantly and efficiently with all customers, vendors and fellow employees, under all circumstances Minimum of 1 year previous experience as Stocking Clerk or equivalent Must be age 21 or older Must be able to get along with others
