DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will support storeroom operations that keep equipment, materials, and supplies moving where they are needed most. The work you will do will help ensure safe, timely, and accurate inventory management across Lackawanna County Maintenance Organization. As a Stock Clerk 2, you will perform the following duties:
Storeroom Operations:
Manage ordering, issuing, and tracking of materials and supplies
Inventory Accuracy:
Maintain inventory to ensure correct stock levels through audits, checks, and documentation
Material Handling:
Inspect, move, and organize materials using appropriate equipment
Record Management:
Keep files, logs, and Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) entries updated and well organized
Vendor Coordination:
Monitor purchase orders, follow up on delays, and address delivery issues
Seasonal Planning:
Assess needs and prepare materials for winter and summer operations Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Shifts may vary due to weather or season. Winter shifts are 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience in stockroom, warehouse, or clerical work; and graduation from high school; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
