Job Summary:

Tussock Sedge Farm raises animals for food and works with local artisan vendors to provide our customers with a wide assortment of nutrient-dense pasture raised foods. Our distribution model is built around orders being submitted through our website (tussocksedgefarm.com) for customers to pick up on our farm. In the coming months, we also plan on launching shipping for most of our products. The primary responsibility of this position involves accurately and efficiently packing orders and preparing them for customer pick up. You'll also be interacting with customers through text messages, phone calls, emails, and face to face interactions - a helpful and pleasant demeanor is critically important, as you will be the face of the farm. Good customer service skills are an absolute must. We are looking for an Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our team and help ensure customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing orders and managing inventory. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, have neat handwriting, be able to work quickly and accurately, and have experience serving the needs of customers. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Packing orders of frozen and fresh foods, accurately and efficiently. Neatly labeling bags and boxes. Maintain team accuracy & efficiency benchmarks. Picking items from cold storage areas (freezers and coolers). Receiving inbound inventory. Managing and counting inventory. Restocking inventory supplies. Ensure that all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

NOTE:

Order fulfillment and customer relations are the main priorities. Our walk-in freezers are kept at temperatures between -10 and 0 degrees F, so the ability to handle cold temperatures when selecting products for orders is crucial. Our packing room is climate controlled with a/c for the warm months and heat for the cold months.

Requirements:

Ability to work in a highly motivated and collaborative team environment. Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds from the ground or pull them down from an overhead shelf. Proficient computer skills (mac and web based order fulfillment software). Ability to use deductive reasoning. Willingness to take responsibility for work performed, oversights, and areas of improvement. Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions. A learning spirit.
