The Department of Corrections is looking for a motivated individual to become a Corrections Stock Clerk to keep State Correctional Institution (SCI) Camp Hill operating efficiently. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position focuses on maintaining, receiving, and distributing inventory throughout the State Correctional Institution. The work supports daily operations and contributes to the overall security and effectiveness of the facility. As a Corrections Stock Clerk, you will perform the following duties:

Inventory Management:

Receive, store, and distribute stock throughout the institution while keeping an accurate delivery log

Inmate Oversight:

Provide direction, training, and supervision to inmates assigned to warehouse tasks

Equipment Operation:

Operate forklifts, hand trucks, delivery vehicles, and other tools to move materials

Supply Purchasing:

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a paid lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirements:

This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license.

Additional Requirements:

Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
