Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Stockroom Associate is responsible for managing inventory operations, including loading and unloading stock, organizing and recording parts for jobs, and maintaining accurate records. Duties include packing, labeling, storing, and inspecting materials, as well as verifying inventory counts and reporting discrepancies. The associate also assists the Fleet Coordinator with vehicle tasks, delivers parts and equipment (including company lifts) to job sites, and supports general building and grounds maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Load and unload inventory from delivery trucks efficiently and safely. Pull, organize, and document parts needed for specific jobs. Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards Maintain orderly and accessible storage of materials in warehouses, tool rooms, or supply areas. Inspect stock items for wear, damage, or defects and report issues to supervisors. Receive and count stock items and record data manually or using a computer Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. Verify inventory accuracy by comparing physical counts with records and resolve discrepancies as needed. Support the Fleet Coordinator with vehicle-related duties. Deliver parts and materials to technical staff as required. Transport and retrieve company lifts to and from job sites. Assist with building and grounds maintenance as assigned. Responsible for onsite duties as assigned. Must be punctual and adhere to attendance standards. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned by management.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience is highly preferred. Experience as a warehouse associate, stockroom associate, or related position is highly preferred. Experience with Excel spreadsheets and data entry is highly preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of inventory control practices, warehouse operations, and proper material handling procedures. Skill in inspecting, labeling, and verifying materials with attention to detail. Knowledge of basic computer applications and inventory management systems used to track and record stock. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and assist with fleet, delivery, and facility support as required. Skill in organizing, tracking, and maintaining accurate inventory and storage systems. Skill in managing time effectively and prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Skill in communicating clearly and professionally with team members and supervisors. Ability to lift, move, and transport materials safely and efficiently. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet departmental objectives. Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and documentation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. Knowledge of company tools, parts, and equipment relevant to assigned job functions. Skill in operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified). Ability to identify, report, and resolve inventory discrepancies or damaged stock promptly. Ability to accurately record, reconcile, and maintain inventory data using manual and electronic systems. Must be able to read and write in English; bilingual communication skills are a plus. Strong customer service orientation with excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills.
Licenses/Certifications:
Maintain a driver's license, maintain an insurable driving record, and be capable of driving on company assignments

Some duties require the Stockroom Associate to work in an office environment. The warehouse has a cement floor and metal shelving up to 15 feet tall. The Stockroom Associate must also, on occasion, work outdoors any time during the year in all weather conditions.

Compensation:
The starting hourly wage for the Stockroom Associate is $19•22 per hour based on knowledge, skills, education, and experience. #ADS25
