Job Description
We are starting our hiring process for our new location
- Mr. Liquor 2 on the South Side of Rapid City! Mr. Liquor 2 is opening soon and will be Rapid City's largest Liquor Store! Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Cashier/Sales professional. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth cashier operations. Responsibilities
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with their inquiries and purchases
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Stock shelves and merchandise as needed
- Supervise and train junior staff members in cashier procedures Skills
- Proficient in using a cash register and Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change
- Excellent customer service skills to engage with shoppers effectively
- Knowledge of retail math for calculating discounts, sales tax, and totals
- Ability to sell products persuasively to customers
- Experience in cash handling and balancing cash drawers
- Familiarity with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus
