Seasonal Stock Associate

Smith Family Produce is looking for a hardworking and dependable Seasonal Stocker to join our team for the produce season! This is an outdoor position working under covered tents throughout the summer season. Position Overview Most positions will begin around 20 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours as the season progresses and business demand increases. Job Duties Stock and rotate fresh produce throughout the day Lift and carry heavy produce crates, boxes, and watermelons Help customers carry purchases to their vehicles when needed Assist with unloading deliveries and organizing inventory Grade produce and assist with quality control checks Keep displays clean, full, and visually appealing Work alongside team members to keep daily operations running smoothly Requirements Strong customer service skills Ability to work in summer heat and outdoor conditions Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly throughout the shift Dependable transportation and reliable attendance Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help where needed Knowledge of produce is a plus, but willingness to learn and retain information about products is required Pay & Perks Starting pay is based on experience, knowledge, and position responsibilities, with opportunities for raises based on reliability, work ethic, overall performance, and produce knowledge Drinks and water provided during shifts Breakfast and lunch provided Access to produce seconds Occasional access to fresh produce "firsts" from our personal garden harvests Family-oriented work environment
