Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Stocker to join our vibrant retail team! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our store's inventory management, ensuring shelves are stocked, organized, and ready to serve our customers with enthusiasm. Your proactive approach will help create a seamless shopping experience, support efficient warehouse operations, and maintain a clean, safe environment. Responsibilities Efficiently load and unload shipments using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory handling. Stock shelves with produce, packaged goods, and retail merchandise while maintaining proper organization and presentation standards. Conduct regular inventory control checks to identify discrepancies, damaged items, or stock shortages; update records accordingly. Assist customers on the sales floor by answering questions, providing product information, and supporting retail sales initiatives. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards by performing routine store cleaning, organizing storage areas, and ensuring equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks are in good working condition. Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing items for dispatch or storage, verifying shipments against purchase orders. Collaborate with team members across departments such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations or retail environments with familiarity in inventory management and stocking procedures. Ability to operate equipment including RF scanners, forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools safely. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and stock accuracy. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks efficiently. Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail math is advantageous for accurate stock counting and pricing. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Pay:
$21.81 - $26.27 per hour
