Job Description
Vacancy Brewing is searching for a part-time beertender to join our team! Beertenders are the heartbeat of our brand and the face of our taproom. We seek someone dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, guiding each visitor through our diverse offerings, and creating memorable experiences.
ABOUT USWe are a South Austin Brewpub that serves house made craft beer, an array of non beer offerings and N/A beveragesCounter style service with a focus on meaningful customer interactionsCreative brewery using fresh, high end ingredients to provide great tasting beer for the Austin communityWith a loyal customer base, our taproom has a comfortable and friendly neighborhood bar atmosphereCommitted to creating long lasting relationships within South Austin and building an even stronger craft beer community
Professionalism•Handle transactions with integrity and accuracy, including credit card payments, tips, and discounts. Maintain punctuality, a well-groomed appearance, and respectful interactions with patrons and team members.
Team Collaboration•Foster a cooperative environment by promoting teamwork and willingly assisting with additional tasks as required by management.
Positive Attitude•Display an outgoing and cheerful demeanor, maintaining a positive attitude with both customers and colleagues.
Efficiency and Time Management•Manage time effectively to complete tasks such as changing out empty kegs, restocking beer-to-go, cleaning glassware, bussing tables, and keeping merchandise organized.
Ability to lift and move kegsBe on your feet for upwards of 8 hoursCraft beer knowledge and experience is not required, but appreciatedReliable TransportationEligible to work in the
