Python Full Job Description Job Duties:
Associate - Matching, Shaping, Allocation with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, Texas. Participate in a wide range of activities including client interaction, business analytics, risk management and team development. Responsible for risk management by investigating any issues the clients and teams might face. Respond to client queries and provide immediate solutions while exhibiting problem-solving and data skills. Utilize expertise in working with data, solving complex analytical problems and finding permanent fixes. Responsible for developing process improvement strategies to increase the team's efficiency by analyzing procedures using SQL, Alteryx and Python. Analyze historic product data to help streamline process from allocation to clearing. Enhance operational functioning by building cross-functional knowledge and interacting with business and engineering teams. Identify and analyze patterns, trends and anomalies using digital analytics and automation tools to avoid potential risks.
Job Requirements:
Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Management, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role or Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Management, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master's degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor's degree) with: advanced Microsoft Excel including working with macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and IF/AND formulas; data modeling; data visualization tools including Tableau; data analytics tools including Alteryx; Python; and Structured query language (SQL). ©The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., 2026.
