Frisco, TX Job Details Full-time $14 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description SUMMARY The Specialty Pricer is responsible for accurately pricing designated or unique merchandise including jewelry, electronics, furniture, and books for retail operations. This role supports the store's mission by ensuring merchandise is priced appropriately, meets quality standards, and is efficiently moved to the sales floor. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, goal-driven, and comfortable working on their feet in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION/DUTIES 1.
Accurately price specialty items such as jewelry, electronics, furniture, and books according to established guidelines. Specialty Pricer 2. Meet or exceed hourly production goals for pricing and merchandise output. 3. Ensure merchandise is clean, functional, and ready for display before placing it on the sales floor. 4. Rotate and replenish merchandise on the sales floor as needed. 5. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with shoppers, answering questions, or directing them to appropriate staff. 6. Maintain a clean and organized work area. 7. Communicate regularly with the store management regarding inventory flow and pricing needs. 8. Follow all safety and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES
The list below is representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability utilized while performing this job. 1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in retail, pricing, or handling items is a plus. 2. Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout the shift. 3. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as pushing carts and stocking shelves. 4. Strong attention to detail and ability to assess item condition and value. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT 1.
This position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting. 2. Work is performed in both the production and retail areas of the store. 3. May be exposed to varying temperatures and noise levels.
