Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Stocker and become the backbone of our retail operation! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for maintaining a well-organized, fully stocked store environment that delights customers and supports sales. Your proactive approach will ensure inventory accuracy, efficient stocking, and a clean, safe workspace. Whether handling produce, managing shipments, or assisting with merchandising, you'll play a vital part in delivering an exceptional shopping experience. This paid position offers opportunities to develop your organizational skills and gain valuable warehouse and retail experience in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Stock shelves efficiently by loading and unloading merchandise using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary Manage inventory control through accurate scanning with RF scanners and maintaining proper stock levels Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments and organizing stock in the warehouse or sales floor Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively to maximize sales potential Maintain cleanliness of the store environment through regular cleaning, organizing stock areas, and ensuring safety protocols are followed Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about product locations and assisting shoppers as needed Perform heavy lifting safely during stock replenishment and organize inventory to optimize space utilization Requirements Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management systems preferred Ability to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and stock accuracy Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and standing for extended periods Experience working in retail or grocery store environments is advantageous Ability to follow safety procedures diligently while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced setting Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-notch service while building your career!
