Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Stocker, where your energy and organizational skills will keep our store running smoothly and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh, appealing products. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing stock areas, and supporting the overall shopping experience for our customers. Your proactive approach will help us deliver exceptional service and a clean, well-stocked environment that invites customers to explore and enjoy. Duties Stock shelves efficiently by unloading shipments, organizing products, and ensuring accurate placement according to merchandising plans Use RF scanners to track inventory movement, update stock levels, and maintain inventory control Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely for loading, unloading, and moving heavy items within the warehouse or stockroom Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against purchase orders and preparing items for sale or storage Support merchandising efforts by maintaining attractive displays and ensuring product freshness in produce sections or grocery aisles Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of stock areas to uphold safety standards and store appearance Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient stocking processes, support customer service initiatives, and contribute to a positive shopping environment Requirements Previous warehouse or retail experience is preferred; familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physical tasks throughout shifts Experience operating RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment is desirable; certification is a bonus Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for inventory control and stock accuracy Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer needs Knowledge of retail math principles related to stock levels, pricing, and sales transactions Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings as needed This role offers an engaging environment where your efforts directly impact the customer experience.
