Longview, TX Job Details Full-time $13.50 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Phone communication Full Job Description Position Summary and Primary Duties Donor Support assists with donations and helps production staff with daily tasks as directed by supervisor. Tasks will vary daily as set out below in Job Duties. Essential Duties Must be punctual and have dependable attendance. Demonstrate professionalism and present a friendly, cooperative attitude towards donors, customers, and co-workers. Ability to multitask, make quick decisions, and work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Greeting each donor as they arrive, provide professional, friendly service while assisting them in gathering their donation offer receipt for all donors. Maintain accurate records of donations. Unload the items and place them in the correct location or department as you receive them. Assist other departments assigned by management, including but not limited to the tasks listed below. Capable of using work equipment such as broom, mop, furniture dolly, etc. Move and clean furniture to the sales floor. Assist customers with loading their purchases when necessary. Prepare items for pricing by cleaning and bagging bulk items. Pack seasonal items in boxes for storage to prevent damage. Take the seasonal boxes to the container. Help by bagging up salvaged goods and carrying the salvaged items to the container. Take trash out to the correct trash container. Ensure safe work practices; maintain tidy work areas and keep all aisles, hallways, doors, and pathways to fire extinguishers and exits free of clutter. Always follow all policies and procedures. Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions With reasonable accommodation, must have the ability to: Respond to telephones, written correspondence, and other auditory and visual stimulation. Remain calm under stress and have the emotional and physical stamina to deal with a variety of stressful situations. Frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, and walk. Frequently lift and carry items up to 40 pounds. Occasionally climb stairs or inclined surfaces. Occasionally work outside during night hours and/or inclement weather.
