Stocker HS-118

The Stocker will ensure the store is set up for a successful day and that all shelves are properly stocked; inventory and back room duties are complete. Responsibilities Follows daily work schedule as assigned by management providing exceptional customer service. Inspects shelves for low stock conditions. Removes stock from storage area and replenishes shelves and display cases. Sorting the grocery products and assigning them with relevant labels and price tags. Keeping track of the products life or expiration dates and record of the grocery inventory. Disassembles and flattens packing boxes and dispose of disassembled boxes. Maintains company standards of shelves and displays, straightening product and pulling cardboard. Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system. Assists in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience. Helps in the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transports merchandise from stockroom to sales floor. Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment. Qualifications . High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required. . Must be at least 18 years of age. . Previous customer service experience preferred . Previous cash handling experience preferred . Basic math and counting skills required . Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal . Must be able to work independently with limited supervision Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
