Job Description

Position Summary The Night Crew Supervisor is responsible for leading overnight store operations, ensuring efficient stocking, proper merchandising, and a store that is fully prepared for the next business day. This role drives team productivity, maintains company standards, and ensures a safe and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities Overnight Operations Supervise all stocking, facing, and merchandising activities during overnight hours Ensure shelves are filled, properly faced, and aligned with company standards Execute planograms, resets, and promotional displays accurately Prepare the store for opening with clean, organized, and customer-ready conditions Leadership & Team Management Train, coach, and direct night crew associates to meet productivity and performance expectations Delegate workload and ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks Lead by example in efficiency, accountability, and teamwork Act as the manager on duty overnight when store leadership is not present Stocking & Inventory Control Oversee unloading and breakdown of deliveries Ensure accurate stocking and proper backroom organization Maintain product rotation (FIFO) to ensure freshness and reduce shrink Identify and communicate out-of-stock and inventory concerns Operational Efficiency Monitor crew productivity and adjust workflow as needed to meet deadlines Ensure all freight is worked and completed within scheduled shifts Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce delays Safety & Compliance Enforce company safety policies and proper equipment usage Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment Ensure compliance with all company procedures and operational standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous stocking, grocery, or retail experience required Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching Ability to perform physical labor for extended overnight shifts Work Environment Overnight retail setting with minimal customer interaction Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Success Factors Strong leadership and accountability High level of organization and execution Ability to meet deadlines and drive productivity Commitment to store readiness and operational excellence
