JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet customers warmly and provide a superior customer experience Accurately operate and process customer purchases using a POS system Maintain knowledge of current produce codes to assure fast check out Possess knowledge of product locations throughout the store to assist customers Follow all ID policies on tobacco and alcohol purchases Keep a clean, organized, maintained checkout area Knowledgeable and capable of implementing security and proper cash handling Bag groceries carefully, following food safety and customer preferences Assist in front end tasks such as facing product, stocking, cleaning, and cart retrieval Create a fun work environment, cooperatively working with supervisors and fellow team members. Adhere to the store uniform guidelines and maintain a clean professional appearance Adhere to all city, county, state and federal laws affecting the store operations Assist in additional duties as assigned

NOTES:

Ability to work weekends, evenings and holiday shifts Food Handlers Permit must be obtained Tobacco and Alcohol Certificates are required

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS

Work is generally performed in a safe and comfortable store environment with the possibility of frequent exposure to hot or cold conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach; perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand and foot coordination; hear and respond to customer inquiries. This job also requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire workday; up to 8 hours. Team members are regularly required to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds from location to location.
