Produce Associate

Job Title:

Produce Associate (Vegetable & Fruit) Are you high-energy, detail-oriented, and a fan of fresh, international ingredients? Ocean Mart in Ogden is looking for Produce Associates to join our team! We are Utah's premier ethnic supermarket, offering a world of exotic produce and a fast-paced, rewarding work environment. As a Produce Associate, you are responsible for the "heart" of our store. You will ensure our unique selection of international fruits and vegetables stays fresh, organized, and inviting for our diverse community of shoppers.

What you will be doing:

Freshness Management:

Clean, trim, and pack vegetables and fruits in a timely manner to maintain peak quality.

Product Expertise:

Learn to recognize and handle a wide variety of exotic produce from around the globe.

Department Upkeep:

Stock shelves efficiently and keep the entire produce area clean, organized, and safe.

Customer Service:

Greet every guest, answer questions about our unique items, and guide customers to the right ingredients for their recipes.

What we are looking for:

Fast Learners:

Able to quickly identify different types of specialty produce and follow specific preparation standards.

Active Workers:

Someone who thrives in a busy, physical environment. This role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
