Your Role:
As a Produce Clerk, you'll help maintain a department that is fresh, organized, and visually inviting.
Your responsibilities will include:
Quality Control:
Inspect incoming produce for freshness, quality, and consistency with company standards. Rotate stock to ensure proper product turnover and minimize waste.
Presentation:
Create attractive, well-stocked displays that highlight the variety and quality of our fruits and vegetables. Keep displays clean, organized, and replenished throughout the day, including maintaining ready-to-eat and cut produce items.
Customer Engagement:
Assist customers with a friendly and helpful attitude. Offer recommendations, answer questions, and help shoppers select the best produce for their needs.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with team members to coordinate receiving, stocking, and merchandising. Support the team as needed to keep the department running smoothly.
Food Safety:
Follow all food safety standards to ensure produce is handled, stored, and displayed in a clean and safe environment.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail when it comes to product quality, pricing, and cleanliness Enjoys working with customers and providing excellent service Able to handle physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Reliable team player with a positive attitude
