Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling to enhance their experience Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card payments Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are well-organized and appealing through effective merchandising and inventory management Conduct product demos when applicable to promote new or featured items and engage customers effectively Maintain clean and organized store areas, including stocking shelves and managing back stock Supervise team members when in leadership roles, guiding staff on customer service standards and store operations Handle phone inquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Requirements Prior experience with retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store operations is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome eager learners! Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with customers and team members in bilingual environments if applicable Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory counts Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles but not required for entry-level positions Knowledge of POS systems and familiarity with grocery store operations will be advantageous A positive attitude, excellent phone etiquette, and a commitment to delivering top-tier customer service Join us today to become part of a lively team dedicated to creating memorable shopping experiences!
