Job Description

Overview Client is seeking an onsite R&D Enterprise Tools Operations Specialist to support global R&D business applications, system requests, data integrity, and process improvement. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy operations or systems support professional with experience learning enterprise tools, executing detailed process work, and identifying opportunities for automation and digitization. Core Responsibilities Execute R&D system requests using business system knowledge and compliance standards. Provide timely, professional support for R&D operational issues and system problems. Serve as a subject matter expert for one or more complex R&D business applications. Develop expertise in key R&D processes such as records management, lab data, and change requests. Support global scientists and engineers by streamlining system and administrative workflows. Use business data and organizational knowledge to improve productivity and reduce manual effort. Identify manual process steps and recommend opportunities for digitization, automation, and improvement. Apply or develop automation and AI tools to reduce administrative workload for R&D staff. Ensure data integrity and compliance across regulated R&D processes. Support audit readiness, data retrieval, and accurate execution of established procedures. Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical, scientific, or business discipline. 3-5 years of professional experience in operations, technical support, system administration, or equivalent academic experience. Experience supporting enterprise business applications or ability to quickly learn new systems and processes. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to complete complex, detailed tasks accurately and efficiently. Experience with process improvement, data, technology, and operational execution. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for global support. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established regulated processes. Preferred Skills or Experience Prior experience with enterprise business applications such as Electronic Document Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, or Project Management tools. Education or experience with data structures, databases, automation, scripting, AI prompt engineering, or AI agent development. Experience with SAP, Cornerstone, Google Suite, or Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred degree areas include Software Engineering, IT, Computer Programming, or Computer Science.
